AMG Launches a New Case for 7" Vinyl

AMG now grades and cases 7" records in a new, smaller-format case — the same sonic-welded protection AMG uses across every format AMG grades, built specifically for the 7" shell.

7" Slabs In Action

Here's what the new slabs actually look like in hand: an Oasis "Supersonic" 7" single, graded AMG 9.

And a Record Store Day exclusive: Taylor Swift's "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone, on white 7"/45 RPM vinyl, graded a perfect AMG 10.

Why It Matters

7" singles bring their own preservation challenges — smaller sleeves, more handling wear, and a format that's easy to overlook next to full-length LPs. AMG's new case gives 7" records the same permanently sealed, tamper-evident protection as the rest of AMG's lineup, so singles get graded and cased to the same standard as everything else in a collection.

Custom Displays Still Available

Going smaller doesn't mean fewer display options. AMG's custom layouts — sleeve and record shown side by side, or layered together — are still available for 7" submissions. Here are two different takes on the same single, Nirvana's "Love Buzz b/w Big Cheese" (Sub Pop Singles Club), each cased its own way.
